Starting at Starbucks, J31A, heading via Clitheroe towards Grassington, and then to Sutton Bank via Pately Bridge.  Some varied roads with mostly good standard A & B roads.  

From Sutton Bank, head through the lanes to Rievaulx, and on to Helmsley.  The so-called Hemsley TT is taken anti-clockwise, starting across the North York Moors to Guisborough, throug Great Ayton and back to Helmsley.  Something for everyone - sea views, twisting and well-surfaced roads, and sheep!  From Helmsley the route takes a more soiutherly track through Easingwold and Boroughbridge, avoiding Harrogate, and back along the A59, ending at The Tickled Trout.

237 miles in total, around 6.5 hours with a couple of stopovers of 40 minutes or so.  Very do-able in a comfortable day.
